A home gym with no subscription: what's really included

The small print of connected fitness is almost always the same: you buy the machine once, but you rent the content forever. Bikes with a mandatory fee, mirrors that stay mirrors if you stop paying, apps that lock the guided workouts after the first month. The real cost isn't the purchase price: it's the price plus the subscription multiplied by the years.

The Prodigy IMBODY Power S Pro is sold on the opposite premise: no monthly fees. This article goes over exactly what the machine includes with nothing more to pay — and what's optional.

What's included with no subscription

Everything that makes the mirror a gym works from day one and doesn't expire:

  • 120 kg of digital resistance (60 kg per arm), with half-kilo control and 5 training modes: standard, constant speed, elastic, eccentric and burnout.
  • nearly 1,000 guided exercises and over 350 video classes on the 43" touchscreen, including AI workouts that correct your form.
  • The 260 equivalent machines you can explore in the Academy, with the full accessory kit: bars, handles, triceps rope, ankle straps and rowing bench.
  • The rowing and skiing games and progress tracking on the machine itself.

What's optional (and free)

The IM'BODY app for iOS and Android — routines, history and progress on your phone — is an add-on, not a toll: the mirror works fully without it. The download links are in the footer of this site.

The maths worth doing

A local gym in Spain costs tens of euros a month per person, and connected-fitness platforms add their own fee to the machine. With the Power S Pro the sum is a single figure: €4,899 including VAT, and that's it. If you'd rather not pay it all at once, instalment financing has a calculator and an assessment with no strings attached — with the difference, versus any subscription, that one day it ends.
